After letting me know it was time for second breakfast and the couch cave needed to be rebuilt, we can finally settle in. If I don’t come back as my cat next time around, I’m going to be pissed.

For this week’s #showmeyourknits I’ve got a finished pair of Basket Weave Rib Socks. A bit fiddly to work but I love the finished result.

Almost done with #grannysquares for this scrappy lapghan. Using #sockyarn minis held double and a neutral DK weight and will JAYG when all the blocks are done.

This week I: 1. Called my senators and representative several times. 2. Cancelled all my subscriptions to big-name businesses 3. Supported small/local 4. Worked on projects for refugee donations 5. Subscribed to an indie newsletter for legal processes to support democracy #littleactsofresistance

Just leaving this thought on making a difference in the world here. I feel like we all want to do something big but all the small stuff is equally important right now.

Today I worked on socks. 🧶 These are a ribbed basketweave pattern and I really like the fit and how they look when finished but they are slow to knit. I’ll keep going along tho! #handknitsocks #knitting

I finished One Hundred Years of Solitude this week as part of my yearlong #classicbooks challenge for myself. Definitely worth the time spent with it especially surrounding themes of history repeating itself and learning from the mistakes of the past. #timely 📖
