A favourite to work with: Rapakivi granite. “Rapakivi is a Finnish compound of "rapa" (meaning "mud" or "sand", while rapautua means "to erode") and "kivi" (meaning "rock"), because (..) exposed rapakivi crumbles easily into sand” I fire the rock to 1000°C before using it. #rapakivi #granite
