We were happy to see our hospice MP @jakerichardsmp.bsky.social a few days ago. As well as talking all things funding, @eveholroyd.bsky.social and I brought Jake up to date with how our services and team have developed over the past year since he last visited.

I moved over here to get away from certain overbearing topics and accounts. So tonight I’m looking for ‘The Traitors’ content and 90% of my search is taking me right back to the content I left behind 😭. I only follow charity people, book people and animal lovers - what’s going on? Someone help!!

At work today we were discussing the pervasive, insidious nature of gossip and what it can do to culture. I likened it to sugar: it has absolutely no positive value, it’s tempting, addictive and it rots your insides. (I felt very clever and pleased with myself at the time! 👩‍🏫)
