I broke my humerus and damaged the socket. So I wake up to either find my elbow in pain or my collar bone in pain. Tonight it's collar bone.

The random bouts of crying throughout the day and night are short. Quick micro bursts of grief for my former life. Everything is different now, but perhaps it will return.

I absolutely love doing stuff alone! I hate asking people to go do things with me! This risk of seizure means I should ask people to hang out so I can have a safety buddy?? Does that seem fair? Okay I'm using you but I just want to go the zoo and the Island and I prob won't seize ok

Me: Well now that I have all this free time I could go do all the things I love to do, mostly activities that involve being myself as isolated as possible. My brand new seizure disorder: Yeah bro, don't do that.

I have so many serious medical appointments in May and also one dental cleaning I booked ages ago. Oops

All I can hope is that this is all a crazy story one day and we will laugh at it all.

Paid my hospital bill. Half day in ER, almost 6 full days in a semi-private room in intensive care. My bill? $45 for the ambulance. Ontario it's still going somewhat okay despite Ford trying to ruin us at every turn. But it's getting worse.

They gave me hydromorphone and it doesn't stop the pain in my wrist from my broken shoulder. Broken shoulder pain is numbed and insane pain in wrist is not dulled by Tylenol or aspirin. WHAT GIVES?

I've been doing wart treatment on my feet for months (yay fun) and it suddenly seems like the least priority thing I've got going on. Even if I was just recovering from a broken shoulder, that would be enough to stop doing unnecessary treatment. Unless, 2 birds 1 prescribed pain killer??

I might not be able to drive for a long time. what a shame. One of my most cherished trips was driving both big islands in New Zealand in 2019. Wouldn't have been the same trip without my rental car.

I had a stroke last Thursday, followed by 3 seizures, as well as fracturing my humerus bone in the commotion. I'm having trouble processing it all still. I've been at the hospital since then. No one has told me when I'm getting released. I can't sleep.

The flurry that is cancelling appointments and putting your life on hold when you have landed yourself in the hospital. Life is never boring over here.

Learned my lesson, never get on the empty looking subway car on line 2. Absolutely reeked of cigarettes and lots of people had clearly switched cars. Tried to warm some girls getting on but they didn't hear me or ignored me! Surprised some people are willing to sit in that stench.

I upgraded to a Pixel 10 Pro and I love that it is smaller than my Pixel 7 Pro but it's so funny that I got a smaller, thicker, phone and it's newer and I'm happy. The 7 Pro was thinner and had that weird curved screen... Anyway I'm happy it's just funny.
