Forgot to say the upcoming Dry Cleaning album is produced by Cate Le Bon! I love the idea of artists producing other artists / bands and imagining how they work together.

I've also checked the new albums by Coach Party and Sprints. CP's album 'Caramel' is very strong overall; by Sprints I mostly enjoy the darker tracks on the record. Somehow fall is often magical for indie / alternative. 🎧

One more post about the 6 Music Festival in Greater Manchester (and live on the radio of course). Kae Tempest and band closed things out with a wonderful show last night. Great new songs, great new sound, great backing vocals, great lyrics and subjects and beautiful vibes. <3 🎧

Finished reading (the Dutch translation of) 'If this is a man / Survival in Auschwitz' by Primo Levi. After surviving a full year of hell he found the energy to write down this story in detail,sometimes even with a feeling of slight irony. I will carry everything he wanted to pass on with me. <3 📚

Played around with an online audio editor that has some nice tools. You can make your audio sound smooth like on the radio, but it also has options to make things sound over the top / crappy in a funny way. It's actually one of my great passions to make that type of audio bits. I call it art! 🤓
