I'm really sad for the Dragon Age Veilguard voice actors who never got to speak about their work because EA never signed the SAG AFTRA contract protecting their talent from AI. They got to do one interview and that's it. Depressing.

I think I've answered everything people sent me, so I'll deactivate this account tonight. Sorry to make a big deal of this, just want people to know I'm going voluntarily, it's not some weird hack, etc. And thank you for all your kind comments! They meant the world.

Saw another misconception I wanted to clear up - I saw someone attribute Calpernia and Samson's quests in DAI to me. Not so! Those fine quests and characters were written by @joberry.bsky.social .

I think I've gotten to most people’s questions, and I promised I'd talk about influences on Emmrich and the Mourn Watch before wrapping this up. So here we go! It took me while to figure out Emmrich's character voice. I'm happy with where I landed, but he was a tough one. A few books helped me out.

Hey everyone, I'd like to correct a misassumption I've seen floating around. I saw a few people who saw my name attached to the codex system, and assumed I wrote the bulk of codex entries. That's not true at ALL.

I have indeed - it’s been incredible. So grateful. Hoping VG companies will all come on board soon and we can end the strike. I’d love to interact more with all the fans.

Quick question about how Bluesky works: since I've been away a bit, I tried scrolling down to my very first notifications to see where I left off. They only seem to go back 12 days. Does Bluesky have a time limit on displaying notifications or something? (And if so is there a way around that?)

Hey everyone: sorry I've been quiet on here. Was busy with a big decision, namely deciding to leave BioWare. I'll really, really miss working with everyone there. But after 15 years, it just feels like a good time for a break. (If/when I've got something noteworthy lined up, I'll mention it here!)
