I didn’t do Aloalo before DT. And I didn’t do ARR again before they trimmed it. There’s some definite improvements, but a few I think their hand was too heavy. Notably 1. Giving soup to soldiers before Castrum. 2. The Sylph impersonations in post-ARR that include hints of StB reveals. #XenAOTD

I like the headcanon that Au Ra are more susceptible to temps cuz lizards. Partially because I am and people always jokingly call me cold-blooded. So in the cold he’s almost icy, and in the heat he’s like concrete baking under the sun. Plus there’s the scales. Skin feels skin like though. #XenAOTD

Most of my characters pick 2 colors with 1-3 shades as their main theme dyes, so might keep a few of those for a little while for posterity. For Xen, it’s Rhotano/Void/Othard Blue and Turquoise Green. Can grab other colors as needed. Until I need the inventory space and toss them out. XD #XenAOTD

Xen didn't know he needed glasses until coming to Eorzea. The Buduga just thought him bad at combat, both slow to react and poor at reading his opponents. It wasn't until he met K'lyhia that he even learned glasses existed. His abilities improved drastically once he could see properly. #XenAOTD

There weren't a lot of blond Au Ra. Also, Xen's a bit more based on me. Blue-green eyes, same reason. Ariel is a redhead because in his original molding he was a Sunite. I added the green highlights because something felt missing when I was putting him together. Matching green eyes. #XenAOTD

Ariel is an exceptional dancer... in particular styles. When he dances, he draws all eyes. He initially trained as a pugilist because of his skill and grace. He doesn't use that part of him much anymore. Xen is a capable dancer, and can dance the Kriegstanz, but he won't win competitions. #XenAOTD

Joke's on you, I started "shipping" Ariel with Haurchefant *because* of his death scene. Ariel seemed so broken over it that I had to reconcile. But Ariel has a complicated relationship with sex and didn't realize until then that Haurchefant loved him that much. Or that he felt the same. #XenAOTD
