On a road trip, I was daydreaming about my trilogy being made into an animated three season show. Its animation style would be a mix of Aeon Flux and Spirited Away. I was deep in the fantasy when an email from an agent pinged, wanting to help make SEPA a film. Damn. Scammers almost got me that time!

I just finished Winter after a whirlwind month of reading The Lunar Chronicles. Marissa Meyer is a dang genius and I'm going to miss the Rampion Crew so much!

Tonight an unbelievable **34,000 people** gathered for our Denver rally to take on billionaires and win our country back. This was the largest political gathering in Denver since Obama in 2008. Also bigger than the 2024 DNC. And the largest ever rally in Bernie’s career (and obviously, mine too).

I left work with an irrepressible grin on my face. My teens started reading The Marrow Thieves by Cherie Dimaline and they *loved* it. It's a dystopian book that explores indigenous rights and history through an imagined future. Guys! You could hear a pin drop. This is the power of story. 💙

I love falling headfirst into writing a story. It's more like reading, the events unfolding around you just as surprising as if you were seeing them unfold. This is my kind of Sunday. #amwriting

For the millionth time (but this time for real, though!) I have decided to shelf this novel. It would be my fourth book and I never thought I would just give up on a book that is almost finished...but I'm doing it. I'm sorry to my characters, but the plot is just too much of a mess. :(
