Just got back from #predator Badlands. Blown away! Who would have thought that they could come up with a captivatingly original idea for an almost 40 year old sci-fi action movie. Not only a good fun movie, but moves the entire mythology forward.

It was pouring rain this morning when it was time to walk to the park. I put on my rain pants, waterproof shoes, best rain coat. I picked up my hat that had fallen on the floor and put it on. I felt a weird tingle. Realized something was in my hat. Earwig. Crawling on my head.

Well I've officially reached the age that I'm on cholesterol meds. Possible side effects include cramps, muscle pain, headaches So now I get to play the fun game Is this pain from working out or meds? Is this a normal headache or because of meds? The only way to win is not to play.

I found out today I need to go on some cholesterol meds. When I asked the doctor if this was something I'll be on for the rest of my life, he said No, not at all, there's no studies that show they are effective after age 74, so yeah after that you can probably stop .....

2 days of straight adventures with the little boy have tuckered him out completely Wait until he goes to the Garlic Festival tomorrow!

You'd think that after 33 years, I'd be over the death of my father. I mostly am. But every bloody year when the anniversary rolls around, I'm an emotional mess. Even when I'm not actively thinking about it, my subconscious must be.

Well I went to see #captainamerica today. I enjoyed it. I don't understand all the negative reviews that I've been seeing. No, it wasn't the best Captain America movie, but it was great. Heartfelt, setup some future stories.
