Last September I facilitated a poetry workshop for Mississippians on Sundays, pulled from about 8 years of archival research. This community workshop project is the thing I’m most proud of, and this lovely zine of the poems we wrote together is just one of the many good things to come out of it.

This week, I submitted my manuscript to my agent (2 years of work. Round 2 of edits! ♥️), and then read some pieces from my manuscript as the Creative Keynote for the MPA conference hosted at Ole Miss. Which earned me my very first STANDING OVATION. 🥹Lord, I feel so grateful. 🙏🏽
