Thorpe off his rocker again but I guess you gotta appreciate the takes. Draft class not that good. Dybantsa trash, Boozer meh. Oh and Cedric Coward should be the point guard and could be a future MVP.

Tiff and Ozzy both being adamant postgame that they would’ve gone to the end with Cirie is ruining my day.

Pretty invested in hopping aboard the Booze Cruise at this point. And while I think it’s close with Peterson and Dybantsa, the former would be a type of nerve-racking I’m not sure we can handle and the latter ain’t gonna happen.

Despite the rancid final five it is still season 50 and the Survivor finale decor and activities are ready. Am I a loser nerd or are you just jealous that you won’t be competing in challenges to add money to your total for the auction?

That game last night inspired more excitement about the NBA than I’ve had since before the Grizzlies became embarrassing. That felt like being there for something. Whew!

Really feels like Thunder are going to win this series handily regardless of outcome of this game but hell of a show for the night.

More than thrilled to justifiably suck to the max, get the third pick, and enter next season getting to go watch this young team try to compete due to the rule changes.

If it’s Boozer vs. Wilson for the Grizz what a fascinating contrast, not to mention they’ll be picking someone to pair with Edey who is kind of a singular player.

Those losses mattered SO MUCH. They were incredible losses.

If Wizards have someone other than Dybantsa top on their board it’ll be a fun month of posturing and seeing what they can extract from Utah

I mostly ceased draft stuff because I didn’t wanna watch too much of top four if it didn’t matter. But time to dive back in. Only thing we know for certain is Dybantsa will be off the board.

After a million calories, a taping of Seth Meyers w/ guest Maya Rudolph, a massive Survivor watch party w/ 1,400+ fans & players, a Survivor exhibit at the Paley museum, Titanique on Broadway, and an all day journey thru Brooklyn culminating in WNBA opening night… I’m ready for Memphis pace.

My first WNBA game at a big venue with a fan base that supports big time and I can’t stress how joyful the experience was. What whiplash from the last few years of my MNBA team. Beyond the whiplash effect it was just such a fun environment and the people were so cool. And BIG ELLIE

Last thing on this. I have a complex plan that improves nearly every issue facing the NBA to some degree- Play fewer games.

I think the core of the new proposal is that a fan buying a ticket to any random game is far less likely to see what amounts to a farce. I think that has real value. I think the worst consequences of the new system are real but wildly exaggerated.

Whether it’s better is tbd still don’t get why how complicated it is matters in the slightest.

I know there’s a lot of factors but watching Ja and Jaren cheer on Des and it’s tough to not think… wait, we had three stars under 27 who liked Memphis and liked each other. The further we get and the fuzzier the details become the more that just hurts.

It’s so incredibly stupid that game 5 of this series starts at 9:30 Monday.

The fact this is about Asheville lol. They’ve convinced enough people that all major cities are terrifying so they’re moving on to mountain towns.

I hadn’t even considered the possibility of Nashville games being announced for next year’s schedule before a lease is done but it’s technically possible and boy oh boy that would be nasty.
