Seeing The Black Cauldron tonight at The Frida. I love this dark feature that derailed Disney for a few years. And I love The Frida. Their bathroom is decorated w/many stickers. And the mural in their lobby is great.

On workdays, I treat coffee like a reward. The critters are fed. I've analyzed my first case for work. And now I get to have hot bean juice.

It feels counterproductive to listen to CAKE while working out at the gym, but maybe it's better than Fatboy Slim? I'm going "the distance!"

I don't know what messge Domino conveyed to Beaker with his cat stare, but it appears to have frightened her!

I got Vinegar Syndrome's The Golden Child. The movie is/looks great. Bonus features are commentaries and mostly technical (matte painting/fx/writing). There's one retro making-of. Other than that, no actor interviews or even talk of the music (which totally ripped off S. Wonder's Superstition).

When I was a kid, mom was the cook. The only time my dad cooked anything that didn't involve the grill, it was migas. I'm no culinary giant, but I can handle this breakfast. Tear up some soft corn tortillas, fry 'em up, beat some eggs, pour em in. Comfort food. Salt n pepper as you see fit.

When I was a kid, my friend and I would go to the video store and rent horror movies. Often, they would be films from Full Moon. Demonic Toys, Puppet Master, etc. I now have volumes I-III of the Fright Box collections of those films. Tonight, I'm watching Puppet Master II.

I feel so behind. I only discovered the band Therapy? a few months ago. I loved bands like Helmet, Ministry, & Prong back in the day. I had the Judgement Night and Nativity in Black albums. They are on both. I LOVE this band. I've listened to everything now. Their 1994 Troublegum is perfect.
