I'm running a team "lunch and learn" session next week about conducting an evaluation for benefits realisation in NHS digital projects, something I myself have enjoyed learning about over the years from some brilliant and clever people. I really poured my heart & soul into this 💫

One of my mentees reached out to ask for interview advice and they've only bloody gone and got their first digital job 🎉 and it's an EPR implementation support role!! So chuffed for them!

Had a pretty wonderful time at HETT North earlier this week on a panel about digital education with @letsdodigital.bsky.social chums. The audience did most of the talking! It was so good!

Thrown in the deep end covering for a colleague on Leave this week and it's a bit exciting - I'm helping get a same day urgent access hub based in a hospital up and running!! So cool 😀 and complicated. And we have 2 weeks to pull it off. My inbox is on fire 😂 but I'm loving it!

The 3 P's of the Office Apocalypse: Parking Passes (getting into the office a bit challenging without them) P1 Notifications - what I get when IT goes down 😵‍💫 BUT lovely to see people & had a good chat with a GP on the phone who had a sense of humour about the dodgy IT. Always appreciated!!

Finally got around to making my digital health (and a few non digital health people) Dungeons & Dragons campaign a logo for some merch! :) the oars are a long, stupid story 😂 we play once a month virtually - come & watch your colleagues be very silly sometime! 🎲🐲⚔️

Little wins of the day: 🤝 Met with a supplier account manager & helped with insight 💻 Helped a teammate by giving them the gift of the NHSmail helpdesk 😂 📊 Slapped a slide deck together for our CDIO ✍🏻 Gently encouraged some contract variations to get a signature, should be sorted soon ☺️

Of course the one time I wear band merch with a huge skull on it (Misfits) instead of a plain black t-shirt is when my CCIO says "this is usually when Nadia says something inspirational" in a directorate meeting so everyone looks at me 😂 back to plain black tomorrow!

Late night coffee & catch up with a lovely friend who I know from working together on my very first NHS project when I was a weeny 23 year old! So good to spend time together. They're big in the social policy world now. So proud to see them thrive 🩷

A challenging day in ICB Land so let's accentuate some positives! 1. Signed up for a course to do in my spare time about behaviour change interventions which I'm so excited for 🤩 delivered by the Behavioural Science team at UCL. It's going to be ace.

Dashboard despair in ICB Land today. Months of work has led to a gigantic brick wall. Plan B and C don't look like they stand much of a chance. Meeting senior management this week to chat about it. Feel deflated :( What does everyone else do when things go properly sideways?
