Base is done for my big moth piece! I sculpted and painted the rocks, logs, and deer track. I sprayed everything with a high gloss sealer to give it a dewy look. Just need to cut out and add my moths and I'll probably be done. #sciart #art #sculpting #moths #natureart

Whooping crane with cattails. This is another older piece from my BFA senior thesis. Whooping cranes nearly went extinct in the 30s and 40s due to habitat loss and illegal hunting. Conservation efforts saved them from extinction but they are still endangered. #art #sciart #printmaking #birds
