As a Genxer (b.1970), I don’t think it’s fair to compare boomers and millennials. Boomers are the reason the world is literally and metaphorically burning to the ground. Millennials are the reason I don’t get a soap bar at hotels and get body wash instead. Both annoying but not equivalent.

So, when do we start referring to it as the American oligarchy instead of the American democracy?

I finished my last lecture of the semester in one of my classes and the students stood up and applauded. This is the 3rd or 4th time in my career it’s happened. And every time I’ve kicked myself afterwards because I forget to take a bow. I just stand there, uncomfortable, and all shy, and stuff 🙄.
