I talked previously about how I’ve felt lost in life. I think a lot of that feeling comes from the expectations society puts on you to start a career, and the meaning you’re supposed to find in that. 1/4

Who else has the most absurd working titles for songs? Most of the time when I start a song, I have no idea where it’s gonna go, which makes naming it pretty difficult. I always end up giving them a stupid name like blingus jones or funkert. 1/2

Did you know that Funked Up was initially meant to just be an instrumental? Well of course not, how could you have? I sent the instrumental off to Ottie High-Definition to get feedback on and they hit me with a “hold my beer”. 1/3

I love my morning coffee(s), but what I love even more is starting a new project with that coffee in hand. Getting that inspiration and motivation to start working on a new song right in the morning, while not being quite awake yet is one of my favourite feelings. 1/2

Electro-ska is back!!! Got the opportunity to work with Ottie High-Definition on this song, which was such a treat. Punchy drums, synths, drum breaks, and smooth ska guitar define this song sonically, but the added vocals really brought everything together and pushed it to the next level. Enjoy :)
