In the Listowel MD crews have been working on: - Removing Trees blocking R-553 Ballybunion to Lisselton - Making safe fallen Eircom poles on Chapel road Ballyheigue - Making safe overturned Bottle banks at Ballyheigue beach carpark

Pictures shared with us showing many roads with blocked trees. Hazards will persist throughout the day. There are a number of cases of trees falling on cars around the country already. Don't take unnecessary journeys! Pictures R561Castlemaine - Dingle is blocked.

Not cutting the excellent work of Met Eireann and @kerrycoco.ie but from Listowel Town Clare is less than 30Km and Limerick is 15km. Obviously less for places like Tarbert/Ballylongford. Perhaps we need to pay more heed when Clare and Limerick go orange. Anyway keep safe ⛄️
