April 4th marked my 17,532nd day of life—and about 3,650 of those have been dedicated to kidney-focused research and development. Spending my birthday at the 9th KDCT Workshop wasn't cake and candles, but a celebration I’ll remember—and one that leaves me more motivated than ever.
