Here's why a video is better. I took 5 photos before I finally got the one on the right. In all the other 4 my head was blocking a part of the waterfall. Plus the last photo has no other tourists. With a video, my GoPro could slowly pan from side to side.

2 days ago, there was no sign of my fish. Saw it this afternoon - the bright orange speck in the water when I fed it. So glad the monitor lizard didn't catch it as it did the previous fish. Or the otters which killed all my fish a few years ago. We live in dangerous times.

Many pics remain hidden in my tons of videos but here's why I'll keep filming on my GoPro. If I had only taken a pic, I'd be stuck with the first pic. But it's a video and I could wait for the passersby to clear in the 2nd pic.

I've finally learnt the ropes. Instead of doing a screen capture, I can now get good- resolution pics from 360 videos and 360 photos. It's all in the GoPro Quik app.

Feeding my last remaining fish this afternoon. As soon as it dies, I'll get rid of the pond which is very hard to maintain and maybe have a gazebo in its place.

I have many potential pics from the many videos I've taken. I thought some videos were useless. But many good pics can be taken from these videos. Because the GoPro shoots 5K videos, they are huge and many details are captured.

I've done 2 months of supervised gym classes and this is the result. Took a few pics but these 2 show my muscles better. Still a long way to go. Total sessions: 51 1st day 9 Aug 2025 (missed 2 classes)
