We had to say goodbye to Liz, today. She succumbed to cancer at the age of 16. She was a joy & inspiration to us, and will be missed more than words can say. She will live on in Peace Island, forever.

It has come to our attention that the versions of Peace Island posted to Steam over the previous 48 hours were corrupted. We are working all day today to fix this issue. A new PC version should be live by 1PM EST. A new Mac version by EOD. We apologize for this oversight.

We have recently learned there is an issue related to our save system that is causing the Mac version of Peace Island to "lock up" on the menu screen, after the opening cinematic. We are working to address this issue, as fast as we can.

Peace Island will be shutting down our Subreddit, (r/PeaceIsland) in 24 hours. Unfortunately, Reddit - despite its esoteric charms - is a fatally toxic community. We look forward to re-joining that service, when it has policed itself.

By adding Tibet as an independent state to the alternate history map players will find in Peace Island, we've pretty much removed any chance the game will be released in China.

We get asked occasionally if Peace Island is anything like "Stray." The similarities end at them both being about cats. BTW: We celebrate "Stray" and all other cat games - the more games about cats, the better!

Almost done with all of the books for the Peace Island demo.

We're going to have to put off the next Peace Island Steam update until Wednesday - we need an extra day to get the new fur working!

How it ended. It's kind of frustrating, because: 1: We had no intent of trolling - we just thought we could spare them all the work, and 2: We wanted to be the first game added to the list, PRIOR to release - it would have been a great selling point!

We were worried that Peace Island would not get a mention in the infamous list of "Games with woke content," so we voluntarily submitted it - here's hoping!
