🎓🌎 We’re joining the Universities UK International Transnational Education Forum on 9th October! We believe universities can be powerful forces for good in times of crisis. We’ll be part of breakout session “Harnessing UK University Networks to Support Higher Education in Humanitarian Crises.”

This #TeachersDay, we honour and celebrate the dedicated educators and refugee facilitators who are transforming young lives all over the world. For refugees, accessing education is a massive challenge, often blocked by financial constraints and a lack of information.

The scale of displacement is growing. In 10 years, the number of forcibly displaced people has risen by 58 million, to 123 million worldwide. For those affected, higher education matters: it builds futures, supports communities to recover, and provides safe alternatives to irregular migration.

The International Day of Non-violence is a reminder of the power education to foster progress and justice, as well as the resilience of refugee youth around the world who continue to strive and access higher education, despite significant barriers.
