Bremmy is back at the vets for glucose monitoring for his diabetes. The house is so quiet with him gone & my feet are cold cuz one of his duties is Official Footwarmer. I can’t wait to go pick him up at 4:30 & find out if the adjustment that was made in his insulin dose is working. 🔆

Jasper thinks that spring is here because 99% of the snow has melted. I’m not going to break his little chiwoowoo heart by telling him that it often snows here in April & even in May. ❄️😱❄️

Bremmy is the most “puppyish” of all the hooligans & wants to wish you a happy National Puppy Day! 💜 Bremmy is slowly going blind since his diabetes is causing him to develop cataracts. He is adapting to his vision loss & remains the best silly boy ever! I love him so much. 💜

Yes, so far we have survived Rapture2026 and Raptor2026 both. 👍🏼 Eli & the rest of the hooligans were kinda sad about no Raptors though… they even dressed in their bestest Dino costumes in case of a real live Raptor appearing at our door. 🦖

Did you know that today is National Tooth Fairy Day? Did you also know that Alouette is THE Tooth Fairy for dogs? If your dog ever loses a tooth & the next morning you find mystery poop on your carpet, you’ll know Alouette visited your home & left a gift. She’s generous like that… 🦷🦷🦷

Alouette & Eli have formed a Neighborhood Watch group. They sit on the back of the couch & watch the world go by outside the windows. What have they borked at so far today? A loud car, a person walking, the mail person, a UPS truck, & many ghosts that only they can see! 😂

Bremmy is at the new vet clinic for glucose monitoring for his diabetes. He’s only going to be there until 4:30, but I miss him & all the strange noises he makes. Bremmy was both excited & stressed to go for his 1st appointment with his new vet. They were very nice to him at the clinic so I hope when he goes back for diabetic monitoring, he’ll be more comfortable. Moving here was wonderful. Needing to find a new vet is less wonderful. 😑

Bremmy: My ball. Me: No. Dryer ball. Bremmy: MY ball. Me: No. DRYER ball. And so on and so on and on and on… ⚪️🐶⚪️

Happy Groundhog Day! Not having any resident groundhogs, I depend on the hooligans to be proxies for the rodents. Today the hooligans did not see their shadows, however they did have very cold footses. I’m not sure what future weather prediction cold footses is, but there you go. ❄️🌞❄️

Today is Imbolc, a celebration of the coming spring & new life. 🌸🌺🌷 Since lambs are symbols of both spring & new birth, Alouette decided to dress up for the day & say, “Merry Imbolc and BAAAAAAAAAAA!” 🐑🐑🐑🐑

It’s still way below zero F windchill here. 🥶 Huckleberry is amusing himself indoors by dragging his toys into the living room & guarding them with a passion. Not sure who he thinks is going to steal them since the rest of the hooligans are buried under blankets on the couch fast asleep. 🤣

The windchill here is supposed to get to -50F over the next few days. The hooligans are reluctant to spend time outside, so I thought I’d post a throw-back-Thursday winter blizzard photo (2005ish) of some of my then hooligans. I miss them all. They were a wonderful pack. ❄️
