Unbeknownst to me until yesterday, DQ fan in China, AlphaDreams, finished a localization of DQ+ a couple of months ago. He told me that It was very well received in his community. 👏 He made improvements and even plans on adding new content. I am impressed. Congrats on the Chinese localization!

On this day, 38 years ago, Dragon Quest was released in Japan. It laid the groundwork for JRPGs and without it my life would undoubtedly be different. I've shown my appreciation for the series by remaking the first Dragon Quest. If you haven't tried it, give it a go!

I would like to begin sharing some "Cutting Room Floor" stuff for DQ+ If you have played through Dragon Quest + you have encountered the World Gate. One such world that was scrapped would even change the battle system. It would have been a Final Fantasy bonus world.

There is a new patch for Dragon Quest +. Version 1.0.3 mostly fixes a bug where in the final post game area you couldn't progress. I don't think many have reached this area yet ('ve seen a few) but I recommend downloading this patch asap. t.co/kGrqa6xGOb

Okay so...don't do this! We have figured out that it's not the plugins causing the bulk of the lag. The fix is potentially much more simple. So simple I may question my IQ.

Okay so I think we have a potential fix for slowdown if you've been experiencing this on your device. For a quick and dirty fix, locate the "DynBlending.dll" file and delete it. It should run better but lighting effects won't work as expected and you may see artifacts.

Dragon Quest + is now available! rpgmaker.net/games/4058/ It is recommended that you restart your PC before playing. Simply run the RPG_RT.exe file to play. If you run into any issues, crashes, or bugs please let me know so I can fix them! Have fun!
