The U.S. 36 Trail will be closed from Flatiron Crossing Mall to near where State Highway 128 crosses U.S. 36. The closures will take place on Feb. 17-19 and on Feb. 23-25 from 8-4 p.m. Closure details, with detour route and dates, can be found through the link at https://bit.ly/4bRw0C8.

Large raptors and owls rely on mature trees for nesting, but fewer large trees in Superior mean fewer nest sites. Residents and the Town built nest structures and boxes to help, with Red-tailed Hawks already using them and a Great Horned Owl possibly incubating eggs—a promising sign!
