I was a really good boy today! I got my yearly booster to continue protection against RHDV2. It’s a deadly virus to rabbits. If I get it, I would likely die. So even though I really don’t like going to the vet, it’s worth it. Love, Benson. For more info go to www.houserabbit.org/rhdv

We helped a community rabbit today that presented with bleeding. At emergency surgery it turned out that she had uterine cancer. Unspayed female rabbits are 50 to 80 % likely to get cancer. Best to spay when they are young. If you’d like donate go to www.ourpack.org/donate.html. #GivingTuesday

Our roots are in pit bull rescue and advocacy through training and adoption support. We were one of the orgs to take a Vick dog. Leo came to us and became a therapy dog. He changed minds about pit bulls through his therapy work. Rabbits and Guinea Pigs are also misunderstood. And here we are!
