Considering pretty much all my freelance work/animation I'm working right now is under contract or a WIP, most of my free time is doing stuff that isn't drawing related. Regardless felt like cleaning up this Mario doodle I scribbled a few nights ago and actually really liked how it turned out.

Wouldn't usually post this kinda thing on a site like this, but why not. Decided to record myself practicing metal galloping up to speed once again, with Metallica's Battery. Flubbed up by the end but knowing this riff is damn hard, ngl sorta proud of the result after practicing for so long.

Ride The Lightning's my album I listened to whenever I'm feeling down/stressed. And this year was a massy doozy and a half. Hoping to effectively change that next year!

Spent the weekend in Montréal helping my sister and dad out with her college tours, which I thought was gonna be great revisiting a city I haven't been to in over 15 years. The most important thing I got out of the trip was how amazing this restaurant and character are.

Super excited to be heading to Lightbox this upcoming October! Kind of crazy to think only 2 years ago was when I went to CTNx by myself just starting at SCAD, and now this time pretty much near the finish line in my degree with friends to come with me. Time flies way too darn fast man.
