In MGS1 I didn't find most items to *that* useful (e.g. Frag Grenades being comically bad outside of the 1st V. Raven fight lol), honestly I was just getting by with Stun/Chaff grenades and my trusty Socom and sometimes Stinger for turrets (I've seen people call them "gun cameras" for some reason)

Something I've noticed from playing MGS for the first time is it's a lot more action-focused than other stealth games I've played like Dishonored, Thief, and Hitman There's a lot more forced combat and it's arguably easier to bumble your way into a guard's line of sight if you're not careful

I will say an issue I always had with HD2's team structure is there's not actually any reason or much benefit to specializing a loadout, esp with how there's not much reason to not just split up to clear objectives faster
