I lived to the point where the reason for the lags was that I forgot to call the literal "optimize" function (This increased fps from about 3 to 40 as the world is stored as a tree-like structure) #java #gamedev

Ok it appears to be only get because fill only breaks lighting (which is relying on get) But the usual fix didn't work for now

the get method (and partially fill) are still screwed though, but at least the core issue is that I used an absolute cords instead of local ones in a couple of places The good thing is that renderer doesn't rely on either of them
