Having over-active dream states is like maladaptive daydreaming but instead of getting to pick the movie someone handed me an unlabeled VHS tape and just told me to watch it. Questionable quality & content.

Once I had a dream where my family rented a cabin, and we brought my dog, but they also brought like… an entire leopard. And the whole time I was like “guys the leopard is going to kill my dog!” and everyone just brushed me off and told me to stop being paranoid. Anyway I have an anxiety disorder.

Sometimes I’m like “I should keep a dream journal” and then I think about like. The one where I did surgery on myself. Or the dream about my car going into the river. Or the dream that featured a kid eating dead hamsters. And I’m like ??? Maybe I don’t need to do that. Maybe we’re okay.
