"You sound like someone who tried... and who was hurt," she observes gently. Despite having no grasp of the Force herself, the lady seems remarkably perceptive. And she takes the chance now to ask, trusting her instinct. "What made you turn from the path, Qimir...?"

"It is," she agrees, folding her hands in front of her, a slight show of vulnerability. "But not everyone can use it. I can't. I am not a Jedi... nor am I Sith." She says the name without fear. She's practical. "Nor do I wish do be... I only seek to understand what dangers lurk around me."

"No... but few know of them outside of Force temples and some planets where they are worshipped by other names," she muses, folding her hands behind her back. Sensing his tension, her voice gentles a bit. "I cannot touch the Force myself... my hope was to find someone who could."

"At the moment, I'm focused on larger designs," Reine muses. "Freedom, in the simplest word." She stops, having led them to a quieter corner of the settlement, where they might speak frankly. "Currently, however, what has my interest is you... you've been interested since I spoke of Mortis.."

Reine nods a bit, thoughtful. "I also adapt. Primarily I'm a figurehead for my family company. Bacta manufacturing. But most of my time is spent on other pursuits." A smile. "More of those academics I mentioned."

There he goes again, being concerned. Or perhaps just curious, or maybe too perceptive. "Just my responsibilities of late... much to handle and settle down." Reine gestures slightly and begins to walk with him, less noticeable that way. "You're kind to notice... are you always so kind?"
