I joined a church service on Christmas Eve. It was nice to be around people really enjoying their beliefs. But, to me, the service describing the arrival of Jesus struck a different chord: every story was anecdotal and silly. I can't understand how billions decided this is the basis of their faith.

I'm a big reader but I've been struggling for years to get through Ulysses. Like I couldn't get past page 5. I decided to use one of my precious Audible credits on a copy. I listened for a ½ hour and still haven't got a clue. Either this renowned classic is just rubbish or I'm just an idiot. 🤷‍♂️
