Gonna play this again for the 100th time

Going into 2026, a reminder for everyone who's fallen off the creative wagon, game dev, writing, art, music, whatever, no matter how long:

I was so happy to see Music in S-tier. I am biased but I think it’s the game dev wildcard in terms of attention/care. For some games music is just a line item and you just “get a person.” For others it’s part of the fabric, beautifully collaborative. I’m glad to be on so much S-tier work now.

2025 has taught me several hard lessons. Lessons about time. Love. Loss. About who actually truly cares about me. About who truly doesn’t. Taught me that I am strong enough to withstand constant waves of heartbreak and sadness. Taught me that growth isn’t always kind. That I can be more.

I went stargazing again tonight because, honestly, I’m not sure why you wouldn’t. And for the second time this week, a brilliant shooting star appeared when I hoped it would. It felt reassuring. I guess sometimes the wish is to just feel reassured. 💫

Yuki was the most beautiful soul I’ve ever known both inside and out. For the last 14 years, she’s been the cornerstone of my life. I would’ve never guessed such a small creature would’ve taught me so much about the strength and love.
