Mechanic AU?? This started from wanting to draw Tony in a jumpsuit and then sort of spiraled from there. Hayes manages scheduling/marketing/basically everything in the garage that isn't actually fixing the cars.

Hayes is trying DESPERATELY to keep their crush on the downlow… and thankfully Tony is dense(?) so it’s working! For now.

Getting very silly with it, but I love playing w intense expressions and any self-insert HAS to have this specific energy in their DNA, so.

Tony accidentally giving Hayes a heart attack — he thinks he’s just joshing his buddy, but Hayes needs to go do some deep breathing 8|

I thought about Hayes’ helmet prongs being able to emote for .2 seconds and nOW IT IS CANON. Of course it wouldn’t really work like that, but… suspension of disbelief, baby!

Hayes has a huge giant world-ending crush on Tony. The two met when they brought him some broken toys to fix- now they're moony over him. But the way he talks, they're pretty sure the feelings wouldn't be reciprocated, so the helmet stays ON whenever they're around him. More on that later!

I like the idea of Hayes and Chance being cousins, since their (general) properties are owned by the same toy company. They're good buddies!!
