I agree 100% it's broken as-is. I submitted it to Apple as feedback. www.apple.com/feedback/ I'd argue that the iPhone's simple, high-quality, and sharable screenshot experience contributed to iPhone becoming so successful.

Do you think that Apple Vision Pro screenshots captured by clicking the top buttons are unacceptable? I don't understand why it hasn't been fixed. Among the things that never occurred to me before: Vision Pro eye-tracking is unusable with dilated eyes following an annual eye exam. I'll need to find something else to do for a few hours while my eyes recover.

I recently purchased and have read "Apple Vision Pro for Creators" by John Ray from PeachPit. If you're starting visionOS development, it's well worth a look. It would have cut my visionOS development time months had it been available in late 2023. Even today, the purchase is well worth it to me.
