What do entries #180-171 bring on our Christmas countdown? Well, more stuff that probably isn't that great, but certain ones may have special meaning for some of you. We're talking apes, weasels, coyotes, orange cats (no, not that one), dolls and a whole bunch of other stuff today!

Happy birthday! We're on the road to Christmas so here comes the first Christmas toy review of the season: Frosty the Snowman. Jada's take on the snowman is basically the first fully articulated, 1:12 scale Frosty so it arrives with big expectations. Is this a worthy addition to your holiday decor?

The Nostalgia Spot's great Christmas special countdown gets off to an ass-kicking start today and will run through the Christmas holiday! And to start things off we have the worst of the worst - babies, penguins, and naked guys who swing from trees. These are the ones to avoid this holiday season.

The time traveler Cable made his presence felt in the original X-Men: The Animated Series and he's back again for X-Men '97. Longtime fans who never opened a comic finally get to find out the mystery behind the man while toy collectors get a pretty cool figure out of it.

Last year I covered “Santa and the Three Bears,” a 1970 Christmas special with a crazy history involving, of all things, a marine park in Florida. But it started as a passion project by former Hanna-Barbera animator Tony Benedict, who died this weekend. Thanks for the memories, Tony. RIP.

Happy Black Friday, folks! Last year I decided to end my 25 specials in 25 days advent calendar style posts, but that doesn't mean I'm skipping Christmas entirely. So, yes, The Christmas Spot is back for 2025, but it's a little different and a little more focused.

The White Queen Emma Frost made an appearance in the first season of X-Men '97 that was apparently so memorable a new action figure was warranted. Or she's to be a bigger player in the forthcoming second season. Either way, it's another chance at a classic X-villain in plastic.

Our #TurtleTuesday look at NECA's line of 2012 figures continues today with Donatello! He's the more uniquely proportioned of his brothers from the show and a real fan favorite so here's hoping NECA did him justice.

Not that there isn't enough reasons to hate the Salvation Army, but I actually used to work at one of their stores many, many years ago. They fired me after a sudden forest fire threatened my disabled sister's home and I had to leave to go collect her.

One of those shows I only have faint memories of, but it was fun to see most of those memories are actually pretty accurate. I too had no idea there was a toy line, but I was probably watching in ‘88 or ‘89 and it may have been long gone, or I was just too invested in Real Ghostbusters.

Mondo’s new flight stand was a pain to put together (not sure I did it right), but it’s definitely an improvement over the old model.

Mondo’s Nightcrawler turned out pretty freaking swell.

Wolverine is the best at what he does, but when he doesn't feel like doing that he throws on his favorite pair of pants and trusty brown jacket to hit the local bar scene. Too bad his action figure comes in a PG friendly toy line so the beers are out, but the claws are still in.

NECA is embarking on a new product line for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles based on the 2012 Nickelodeon series. Today, we start our look at this new line with the leader of the group, Leonardo. Is this the latest and greatest from NECA or should these turtles head back to sewer?
