Day 288 of 2025 Leaks about games are just a big no go for me. They just ruin the surprise moment. They spoiler games before they release. The only upside that they have is that people can farm clicks and attention with it which... is not really a good thing in that context. I hate leaks.

Day 287 of 2025 So my first impression of the NGL app is... it's awful. The issue are those weird bot generated messages you get there. They are just creepy. "We should meet more often" "I wish you knew how I feel" Or one that I can't properly translate: "Meine Diggas sind verknallt in dich" ??????

Day 286 of 2025 I am not much of a music listener. However I enjoy game soundtracks. My favorite one from Silksong is the cogwork core soundtrack. It's really good. I also feel like it reminds me a bit of a soundtrack in a different game but can't think of the game. Parts of it felt familiar to me.

Day 285 of 2025 I am getting really frustrated from losing a steel soul run in Silksong that got pretty far but then for whatever reason I keep trying again and again anyways... why?

Day 284 of 2025 Trying to rest my mind a bit. Silksong is a good distraction. Maybe I can finally beat Steel Soul.

Day 283 of 2025 I saw some Sora 2 videos and it feels so wrong, I would even say kinda disgusting to see stuff like Stephen Hawking in a box fight or other famous dead people doing weird stuff. Scary how far AI can go and it will only get worse.

Day 280 of 2025 Silksong is an interesting game. Early game feels to me like the hardest part. Mid game is mostly fine as you get stronger. After 20+ steel soul runs that died in the first act I made it to act 2 and it's going well. Over 10 hours in. Also no cheese because it would feel wrong.

Day 275 of 2025 Almost forgot to post. Yesterday I saw pointcrow streaming hackapromt where you need to try to gaslight an AI to say something specific depending on the task which is actually kinda fun. I tried it too and it's really fun.

Day 274 of 2025 It's October now. Which means 9/12 months are over. About 75% of the year is over... Hopefully the last 3 months of the year will go well.

Day 273 of 2025 On the one side things went well today. On the other side there is still a big questionmark on something I need to do as soon as possible. And that's going to be really difficult.

#Silksong Useful for Steel Soul. There is a way to get a full mask till far fields. One of the mask shards on the way can be obtained by getting the flying anymore over there and using it to pogo up there without walljump. This way leads to a little gauntlet and then to a mask shard.

Day 269 (nice) of 2025 Why am I even trying to get stupid hard achievements in games sometimes? I put a total of 7 attempts into Steel Soul in Silksong so far. And not a single time I got through all of act 1. I didn't even get to the actual hard stuff yet... most attempts died pretty early.

#Silksong I tried a second time to get the sub 5 hour achievement and this is just insane. Please tell me, is there any other person who tried this achievement and failed (twice)? Or am I the only one...

Day 268 of 2025 Sometimes I wonder how AAA games are still that popular when some indie games are so insanely good and cost much less. People keep complaining about 70-80€ games, meanwhile you can get Silksong for 20, and Hades 2 for 30 and lots of other great indie games for a very low price.

Day 266 of 2025 Maybe I should have asked before I started doing that but since it's been some time now since Silksong released is it fine to post Silksong clips now? Want to post here how my steel soul runs die. I will probably give it more attempts till I get tired or till I succeed.

Steel Soul attempt 2: That was just really stupid by me. I don't know why I thought going in at low health would be a good idea.

Steel Soul attempt 1: I even defeated Lace in this run and that's how it ended. 2-3 hours in. Not bad for the first attempt but that death was stupid. I tried to get back to the bench but all these traps on the way...

Day 265 of 2025 I want to attempt Silksong Steel Soul (without bench warp cheese). I don't know how doable it would be for me. Only way to find out is giving it some attempts. I did beat Hollow Knight 100% on steel soul which took me over 10 attempts.

From today. Tried to get the sub 5 hour speedrun achievement... and failed. This is really disappointing. Not having much talent means I need to put more attempts into it. I failed because I kept dying a lot on the last few fights.

Day 264 of 2025 I finally 100% completed Silksong! Awesome game. I am still missing 5 achievements. I will probably try to get them but I think I won't be good enough to do so...

Day 263 of 2025 Decided to buy Hades and Children of Morta for Switch (on sale). Not going to play them yet because Silksong but at some point I will.

Day 262 of 2025 Sometimes I feel like I am scared of many things. Idk how reasonable it is. Some things need to be done. But I feel like I am not able to get important things done...

Day 261 of 2025 The long wait is almost over! Hades 2 finally gets the full release! I never actually played Hades... but the first game is on sale for Switch rn (6,24€). Should I try it? It never really interested me much but I like roguelikes so there is probably a good chance I would enjoy it.

Day 260 of 2025 Have to correct what I said a few days ago. While amiibos are still very expensive they cost 10€ less here than they cost in dollar in the US. The Galaxy amiibos being 30€ (40$) and 40€ (50$) for the Kirby Air Riders amiibos. But yeah, still way too expensive in my opinion.

Day 259 of 2025 I was thinking about the question what metroidvania would I recommend to someone who never played a metroidvania before. My first metroidvania was Hollow Knight which is a great game but not something I would recommend as first metroidvania. I would probably recommend Ori.
