When you make art and put it out there, you fixate on the breadth of appreciation and sometimes ignore the most important axis, the depth of that appreciation. I was in denial because I didn't want to become big-headed, but looking back that was very self-centered. Thank God for the archives.

I underestimated how many people would be sad I'm ending the show. I never wanted to overestimate my worth, but I may have underestimated it. I feel like lack of self-awareness is an unavoidable human obstacle.

Next show will either be me talking with People Like Us or me explaining Dogarianism. Shemp Jive!

I'm worried that once my show ends, I won't have an identity. But I didn't before and found it socially revealing and spiritually positive.

Worked in the garden. Had my tea looking at birds. Scratched my old dog's ears. Thought about interesting trees I've seen. Oh, and took creepy infrared film photos of weird puppets. Good day. Thankful.

It's crazy, but I hung out with Ted Turner and his family twice in the 90s. I was a friend of a friend of the family and it was a bit surreal, but it was also weirdly normal. One time was a baby shower and one time a birthday. My takaway was Troy Garity was very shy and nice. Never saw them again.

So blessed. Getting so much love and healing from my radio family. I have the kind of tears that you smile through. It's been my microphone, but it's been powered by your energy and love. Glad i have a few more shows to thank you because i could spend hours more doing that.

Reached the age where I eat and hand out hard candies. Been doing Werthers originals but thinking of switching to Sherbert Lemons.
