I'm feeling good tonight. Things haven't always been easy lately, and I've been struggling with some *really* dumb anxieties for a bit. Life is great, but not without its trials. But tonight I am just feeling... great! I'm not going to ask questions, I'm just going to enjoy my evening at work. 😂

Playing through an all time favorite: Vandal Hearts. This often overlooked tactical RPG is my favorite. Great story. Great characters. EXCELLENT combat. I'm doing a No Mages/No Healers run, picking bad class variety to make it more difficult! #VandalHearts

I've wrapped up Halo: Infinite again, bring another series replay to a close and now I am ready for Campaign Evolved! My greatest wish for the next mainline Halo is a complete cast. These 3. Arbiter. The Halo Wars cast. I want the Smash Ultimate "everybody's here!" of Halo. #HaloInfinite

Approaching the end of Halo Infinite once again. Ive blasted through it and 5, Im so damn fired up for Campaign Evolved! I love the Master Chief. He acts without hesitation, never gives up and works with what he has. Im excited for CE, but Halo 7 will send me into the stratosphere. 💚 #HaloInfinite

The next two games I am most anticipating release on the same day, July 28th. Im so excited. I will likely pay to play Halo early I wont lie; that way I can have my first run in the bag before EverQuest releases. 🤌🤌

I unlocked the second instrument - Conch Horn! The Bottle Grotto dungeon was a little challenging but I finally defeated the Genie 💀 I'm still having an absolute blast with The Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening Remake.

I love game show weak so much. If something amazing that I want and is totally for me is announced? Major win. If nothing that interests me at all is shown off? I can carry on with whatever I felt like playing and save money. Major win. If you can go into it winning regardless, its a great time.

Im only playing WoW for the next week. I want to start a new game, but Im holding out for the game shows; letting the hype ferment. 😍 By the time next week hits, Ill be down to play anything and will have lots of options and new exciting things to look forward to! I cant wait!

This is Mario Kart 64, upscaled, in ultrawide, at 60fps, using hi-res CG models from the manual/character select. Its gorgeous and plays like a dream. My favorite Mario Kart is now so much better. 🥹 I love this, this is awesome. #MarioKart64

My next game may be a replay of Mario Kart 64. Ever since the decompilation/recompilation came out on PC, some modders got to work bringing the CG assets'/models to life and putting them in the game. This looks stunning to me; I always wanted this art to be playable. A dream come true.

Hardcore World of Warcraft is a total game changer. I am loving it more than I expected to. The danger, tension, and sense of comradery among people is palpable. Items you didn't bother using become godsends. Its a BLAST! I nearly lost my life in Moonbrook, because of coarse. But still I live! 🔥

"So fades the harvest of my great betrayal." Halo 4 is unbelievable. It is one of my favorite campaigns in the series, favorite villain by a landslide. I don't think any other Halo aged for me more positively than Halo 4 did; underwhelmed on release, a beloved favorite today. #Halo4

Once I finish Oblivion, I can see myself rolling a character in Hardcore Warcraft. There is something exciting about the culture and the tension surrounding permadeath. It makes the act of leveling in and of itself, a feat. And you can transfer to regular Classic upon death; so no wasted time!

Today I put my 19 year old cat, Shenan (short for Shenanigans) to sleep. I got her within a month of moving out on my own at 18 and Im 37 now; she was my entire adult life. Every apartment. Every relationship. Everything. I had ONE constant. Goodnight, beautiful girl. I will always love you 💚

Dusk on the Imperial Waterfront. I love immersing myself and absorbing these incredible worlds; I imagine how cool the water is, how the wood of the old homes on the waterfront would feel if I ran my fingers along them, what the air smells like. Cyrodiil is among the best. #Oblivion

I keep meaning to start Halo 4, and I will soon, but every time I sit down to game I fire up Oblivion haha. Im almost done with the Thieves Guild, then moving onto Dark Brotherhood. I wont be doing The Mages Guild, Im on bad terms with them on account of all the murdering. #Oblivion

The difficulty change to Oblivion, where enemy and player damage are separate sliders, has revolutionized the game for me. No longer do I need to choose between the game having some challenge with damage sponge enemies, or fun combat but Im nearly immortal. I can have the best of both. #Oblivion

Im trying to break my habit of never resuming old saves; I always start fresh if its been too long. But my Oblivion Remastered save had like 40 hours in it already, so I dove back in. Oblivion was unintentionally hilarious within minutes. I love this game. 😂🥹 #Oblivion

I don't really experience gaming "ruts", so much as "misfires". Sometimes after finishing a game, Ill decide on whats next and just be totally off the mark. The game I play is great and all, just wrong timing, wrong headspace, wrong game. I always need to take a few days to reset when this happens.

After a few shitty renovation days... today was a good day. :) I love nothing more than those "the storm breaks" moments and you can tell the sun is metaphorically coming out again.
