while watching the mc movie a few weeks ago i was genuinely getting some napoleon dynamite vibes in some of the jokes and only now im figuring out its the same fucking director this shit is crazy

i feel like it's so much harder to pinpoint any sort of internet musical movement now. the spread of information is too fast and any kind of thing that spawns is instantly spread too thin to carry the initial impact and feelings it held from the people who created it. nothing is left to simmer

i love collages and any art form that resembles collages. i think the idea that you can just mash together a bunch of stuff to create this ball of personality that resembles something/someone is so pretty. giving a little piece of yourself for everyone else to understand and pick apart

theres a lack of chain reaction influence on a lot of music and it shows. there is a lot to gain from the movement and sound design of all those tracks. for some reason its always felt like people preferred to imitate deepchord-adjacent stuff instead, which isnt bad necessarily, is just a bit stale

starting off my last 2 posts with "its weird" i need a larger word brain i can only think in small words and its limiting my processing potential. also i happen to repeat the last words i see pretty instinctually and i dont know if thats a good or bad thing (probably bad)

its weird that my dread for death is strongest when i make art i truly love. it feels like this obligation to release it to the masses before i die or else ive made this big mistake. i think a lot of it is my mind yearning for the feeling of seeing other people understand my vision thru my music

it's weird how i can't really enjoy music as well if i can't place it to a location. there's definitely some exceptions (when it's very rhythm-oriented/generally catchy) but otherwise my atmosphere brain really wants to take over.
