Inching my way towards making that explainer video, here's a chroma phase cycle and zoomed in view of the beginning of the scanline. You can see how the phase of the color carrier burst stays fixed as a reference, and then shifts to indicate hue changes.

Still rehearsing the breadboard color video generator before the explainer video, but it looks like the chroma carrier is working!

Ferries cores for flat flex cables are a thing, and they do the job quite well. I only got around to testing this after finding out that shortening the cable is just as effective (and cheaper). Good to know it's an option, though!

Trying to get all these Paint drawings off my DOS PC but my USB floppy drive is apparently too crappy to read the full disk. Hopefully my Win98 machine's floppy drive works better because at least that one has an ethernet port.
