Tonight Knicks Fan TV reached 100K subscribers on YouTube. While I am not really involved in the video side of the house it is really cool to see this platform built on pure passion for the Knicks. A true fan-led entity. Proud to be a part of it!

It's an unpopular opinion of mine, but I'm convinced that fans in stadiums have become more and more unhinged since COVID lockdowns

The thing I've enjoyed about the Mike Brown experience has been that he's not afraid to roll with young guys for extended periods if they have it going. Tonight that was Kevin McCullar Jr, who logged 23 minutes & took advantage. Feel like he's slowly building trust with Brown, which is awesome.

I feel like whenever there's a high leverage late defensive possession, OG Anunoby just makes a play for the Knicks. He did it again tonight against the Hawks and it is so frequent that this defensive excellence just feels routine. Which is insane to say. All-Defense player.

A couple of weeks ago, I shared with you all that I was doing a little refocusing on my writing and not stretching myself too thin. It's been a short period, but I can't tell you how free my mind feels to work on topics and projects that I really care about. What a freeing decision!

I'm still thinking about that Karl-Anthony Towns put back finish. The way he flew to the ball gives you an idea of how much he wants to win here and why he's such a fascinating talent. Because when you see the flashes it is truly intoxicating.

Once again today we had excellent moments from Tyler Kolek. Finished with 16 points and 9 assists. Feels like he's developing such a great rapport with Brunson and KAT. The defense has been getting better, at this point he feels like a core rotation player moving forward.

One of the trademark traits of this era of Knicks basketball is their resilience to not give up and keep fighting. They did that today, starting flat and falling behind multiple times. But they kept fighting and executing. A Christmas Day win just feels better than most. Let's go Knicks!

I finished a book tonight titled "I Who Have Never Known Men" by Jacqueline Harpman and I have some thoughts that I want to share about it.

I've detailed this before, but Julius Randle will always be one of my favorite Knicks. I don't get to watch him much anymore so it was definitely bittersweet to see him have a great fourth quarter tonight. Nice game for Julius, you can tell he takes the matchups against his old team very seriously.

Coming into tonight, this felt like a loss for the Knicks. No Brunson, Anunoby, or McBride in the midst of a brutal schedule swing. But some good things to be taken away tonight. Kolek continues to cement his status as the backup PG of this team moving forward.

I learned today that my uncle passed away. When I was in New Jersey for my little sister's wedding last year we wanted to see him, but he didn't feel up to it as he was battling cancer.

Something that's been floating around in Knicks circles this past week is the improvement of Mitchell Robinson's free throw shooting. He's been 11/13 over the last three games, showing the value that shooting coach Peter Patton has brought to him.
