On this day in 2003, #ZWAN released their one and only album, Mary Star Of The Sea on #RepriseRecords Formed with the split of Smashing Pumpkins Billy Corgan formed and put out this superb album! It reached number 33 in the UK charts and the singles Honestly & Lyric!

On this day in 2013, Funeral For A Friend released their sixth studio album, Conduit on #DistillerMusic A cracking album that reached number 34 in the UK album charts. It only included the one single, Best Friends And Hospital Beds.

On this day in 2013, Biffy Clyro released their sixth studio album, Opposites. Released as a 2 CD set, it reached number 1 in the UK album charts and featured the singles Black Chandelier, Biblical, Opposite & Victory Over the Sun.

On this day in 2008. Bullet For My Valentine released their second studio album, Scream Aim Fire. In at number 5 in the UK album charts and no. 4 in the US, it sold over 1.4 million copies worldwide! Fantastic album, especially love Hearts Burst Into Fire!

On this day in 2022 @pauldraperofficial.bsky.social released his second solo studio album, Cult Leader Tactics. Reaching number 22 in the UK album charts, it was another fantastic release from the former @mansunofficial.bsky.social frontman!

On this day in 2014, @skindredmusic.bsky.social released their fifth studio album, Kill The Power. Absolutely stunning album, it included the singles Kill the Power, The Kids Are Right Now and my personal favourite Ninja! Also really love Saturday though, proper anthem song!

Figured I’d try a run home from the office today #runningpunks and that was as hard as it comes. Hills and and a storm certainly makes it hard work, but more miles in the legs!

On this day in 2009. Hoobastank released their fourth studio album, For(n)ever. It never had a release in the UK for some reason, but included the singles My Turn, So Close, So Far & The Letter.

On this day in 2015, @paparoach.bsky.social released their eighth studio album, F.E.A.R. aka Face Everything And Rise. Including the singles Face Everything and Rise, Gravity & Falling Apart. Good album, really like Falling Apart and still well worth a listen.

On this day in 2003, Reef released Together, The Best of .... REEF. Pretty much a greatest hits or singles collection with a few non LP tracks, especially enjoy the cover of Just Dropped In (To See What Condition My Condition Was In) at the end.

On this day in 2014, You Me At Six released their fourth studio album, Cavalier Youth. In at number 1 in the UK album charts, its still a brilliant listen today! Especially love Lived A Lie & Fresh Start Fever!

On this day in 2003 INME released their debut studio album, Overgrown Eden. Fell in love as soon as I heard the album, Underdose, Lava Twilight, Firefly, Crushed Like Fruit. Such an amazing album even to listen to it now. Brings back so many wonderful memories.

On this day in 1997, Reef released their second studio album, Glow. Right in the middle of Britpop era, legendary songs on this album too, Place Your Hands, Consideration, Come Back Brighter, Yer Old! TFI Friday fans! Had the pleasure of seeing them in 2000 and amazing.

Another massive favourite for me, on this day in 2017, Deaf Havana released their fourth studio album, All These Countless Nights on #SoRecordings Absolutely love their sound and evolution over time, this is an amazing album, especially love Seattle!

On this day in 1992, Lush released their second studio album, Spooky. The album reached number 7 in the UK charts and included the singles Nothing Natural, Superblast! & For Love.

Happy Birthday to Into The Blue by #Geneva released on this day in 1997 In at number 26 in the UK charts, it was the second single from their debut album Further.

On this day in 1997, The Supernaturals released the single The Day Before Yesterday's Man. Released from their debut album, It Doesn't Matter Anymore, it reached number 25 in the UK singles chart! Cracking tune!

On this day in 1992, Therapy? released the Pleasure Death mini album! It reached number 1 in the UK Indie Charts and is heavily featured in their biography, So Much For The 30 Year Plan: Therapy? Potato Junkie is always an anthem!!

On this day in 2018, Tiny Moving Parts released Swell. This is a band I stumbled across online after hearing a song, they are amazing. This was one of my favourite albums of 2018. I've been able to see them live twice and they are just as good as on the record.

On this day in 2024 Alkaline Trio released their tenth studio album, Blood, Hair, and Eyeballs. One of the best albums from the band, it somehow only reached number 64 in the UK album chart but reached number 27 in the German charts! One of the best albums of 2024!

On this day in 2009, Franz Ferdinand released their third studio album, Tonight Franz Ferdinand. Including 5 singles! Ulysses, No You Girls, Can't Stop Feeling, What She Came For & Live Alone, it debuted at number 2 in the UK Charts!

On this day in 2015, @thecharlatans.bsky.social released their twelfth studio album, Modern Nature. The first album since the passing of drummer Jon Brookes, it reached number 7 in the UK album charts and included the singles Talking in Tones, So Oh & Come Home Baby.

On this day in 2010, Royal Republic released their debut studio album, We Are The Royal on #rrusa A band i've only discovered in the last few years, so much fun! In a similar style to The Hives, so if you're a fan, you'll love these too!

Happy Birthday to amo, the sixth studio album by Bring Me The Horizon released on this day in 2019. Wasn't a massive fan of the electronic sounds of this one, but do like Mantra, Nihilist Blues & Medicine. Some of the others tracks are half decent but just not my thing.

On this day in 1999 The Levellers released the single One Way. Initially released in 1991, this version was included on the compilation album from 1998 One Way of Life: The Best of the Levellers and reached number 33.

On this day in 1999 PLACEBO released the single Every You Every Me. The third single taken from their second studio album, Without You I'm Nothing, it reached number 11 in the UK singles chart. Top tune!

On this day in 1999 Garbage released the single When I Grow Up. The fourth single taken from their second studio album, Version 2.0, it reached number 9 in the UK singles chart.

On this day in 1999 @divinecomedyhq.bsky.social released the epic single National Express. The third single taken from their sixth studio album, Fin de Siècle, it reached number 8 in the UK singles chart and is the bands highest charting single!

…. And that’s a wrap, the final episode of Parks and Recreation finished. Really enjoyed it, although it did get very silly towards the end. Finally going to start the last series of Stranger Things next!

Also, on this day in 2006, #POD released their sixth studio album, Testify. Another absolute cracking album but I didnt realise some of the guests on it, Katy Perry and #GlenBallard joining in!

On this day in 2020, Twin Atlantic released their fifth studio album, Power. It reached number 11 in the UK album charts. A wonderful listen, especially love Barcelona!
