Recently finished Tom Lake by Ann Patchett, and what a joy! I didn't want it to end. Beautifully written, with characters you wish you knew and a setting you want to live in forever. I recommend you cosy up with this treasure asap!

Writers, what's your genre, or are you genre-fluid? I broadly describe mine as cosy crime, but I overlap into women's fiction, and something a little darker / edgier. (Glad I'm not in charge of marketing it). Wonder if anyone else struggles to fit into one simple category? Or not! 📚✍️
