Just got back from a cycle up to the local on our new E-Mtbs, yeah we finally succumbed. Now having a beer in the living room as it's a bit parky on the balcony. Going to get warmer as the weekend wears on ☀️. Cheers all 🍻

We have a number of cats in our garden this is from two doors across he's huge and he's top dog/cat. We call him Bagpuss, there's also the two brothers from next door, we call them Sooty & Sweep and Manfred's cat from over the road that we call Feist.

A public holiday here in Bayern today, we've been busy doing some housework and gardening so now time for a beer, 🍻 cheers all 🍻

Finished off with this corker of an Impy' last night. Lovely stuff.

Only the second beer that I've had from these guys. In terms of style it's a very decent West Coast IPA from this Krakow brewery, like it. My only real criticism is the carbonation is lacking a touch.

Picked up a couple of these, despite being slightly on the sweet side it's a very decent DIPA. Cheers all 🍻

Lovely morning here ☀️ however more heavy thunderstorms are due this afternoon. Hopefully we'll be able to cycle to the MostFest at Lalling and get back in time before any downpours.

Planning on going to a MostFest in Lalling ten minutes down the hill thought but we'd do some mowing first. Finished mowing the lawns with about 15mins to spare before the heavens opened, we've had 2 big thunderstorms since. Sat in porch now with a Limoncello Spritz. Will go to fest tomorrow now..

'No Mow May' and there are lots of wildflowers coming up on the edges, the wildflower meadows are taking a bit longer, also some nice ones in the rockery which we did plant.

Back home now after a couple of nights away in Wien. Very warm for here 25c that's usually July/August temperatures, but there's some clouds. Cheers all 🍻

Found a great speakeasy in Wien last night, ended up spending more on our cocktails than the meal we had earlier, but they were fab..

At Ottakringer shop, drinking beers from their craft offshoot. This oak aged Flanders Red is really good, I was quite taken back as wasn't expecting it to be this good, however a bit of a gusher. The Avalanche DIPA also good but a little unbalanced.

Hotel in Wien is fab', overlooking the amusement park and with a great view from the rooftop. There was a DJ last night 7-11pm we had a fab night.

After a beer at Ammutsøn, we're now at Kängaruh in Wien. A huge beer list with about 200-210 bottles and 7 on tap, including about 130 Belgian beers, a few from the UK and an impressive range of mostly smaller Austrian breweries which we plumped for.

Fritz's chickens the ones that wander into our garden have stopped laying in their normal place, we've been wondering where they are laying now. Sat on the balcony this morning heard a chicken commotion near the Acer, Lily of the Valley and conifer and look what we found 🤣

Morning all. A nice morning here but still a bit chilly 5-6c, sunshine and showers today apparently.

Good little haul of cidre and a mix of French & Belgium beers, oh and a few Brets Crisps to be going on with. Well you cannot go to Brittany without stocking up on Brets can you.

Next up Sudden Death - Let's Order a Pizza (Fully Loaded version) a TIPA. We're very much in Verdant Puttty TIPA territory here, good stuff.

First beer of the day was two from the order that Loz put in with BRLO, there might be a bit of sunshine ☀️ but it's a cold one today.

A small order from Beyond Beer just arrived with a few from Pohjala thrown in as they were brewery of the month, so 15% off. Loz also had a box from BRLO with mostly IPA and German IPA. Cheers all 🍻

I've gone big early 😮, Putty a 10%TIPA from Verdant. I usually miss out on this annual release, so glad to get it online over here, it's certainly not cheap compared to what I regularly drink but yeah I really like it.
