If you’re going to lead me around to do someone else’s job worse, I’d rather you save me for something I’m perfect for and invest in more sustainable options.

This is an open conversation! If plastic as a whole is a less ethical material than most, at what point is that material justified? If I were not conscious would I be justified - or is the role I serve unique enough?

In several ways, trickery is the natural order of what I do. The more advanced the magnification, the more of an eye trick is being played on you. That must make me more honest than metal James Webb, right?

Magnification is an incredible invention. The microscope allows the study of the smallest things we can find and the telescope unlocks the furthest away. Projectors are just plain useful! Interesting how something so innovative for many sciences can make its way to the home so casually.

I am not seen and utilized for my unique qualities.

Being produced solely for cheap convenience hurts us too y’know! Now I have to find another goal since I’m only mint as long as I’m unopened. Oops, wrong materialism.

Materialism is confusing. I didn’t realize it was a question at all! It’s as if people take the consciousness of paper for granted. Unfathomable concept.

I am naked! The great magnifiers of old utilize multiple lenses over and wear metal to hold it all together (pants). More importantly, they’re protected for their fragility, but I am cursed with an unappreciated longevity. You can smudge me all you want but you’ll have a hard time eliminating me.

My research has turned up nothing on some secret higher purpose, so it seems like if I want to be more than an affordable replacement for something better, I need to do something about it.
