I visited Mother Ocean, to ask her to heal my damaged ankle. I stood in her small wave embrace and recalled how she had spared me here in Winter surf. My last breath on two occasions. My bond.

Sat here,having dropped my son off to see his Mum, my ex. No war. Just the breeze. So thankful for what we have.
