I miss painting art for zines. I also miss finding zines to apply to since I left X a while back.

🌿Frieren Was burnt out from making Purah, so I bought this from Dokidokicosplay altered the torso and styled a basic wig. I've always had guilt of purchasing a costume and that I need to make everything myself. I've been making costumes close to 30 years, I’m allowed to buy some here and there.

After Two years I finally wore Purah!! I tried to do the best I can to bring her to life. I made her in hopes to enter her into a comp one day. I don’t love rushing my art so I’m glad she took as long as she did, even tho it was an emotional roller coaster. 😭 🌿 Everything was made by me. #zelda

I forgot how many years I’ve been sharing this 😆. This is tradition.

In 4 years.. I’ve been making costumes for 30 years.. ..

Just want to add, I hate dying fabric and avoid it if I can. This costume here was an exception. I couldn’t find any of these colors so everything here is dyed, it’s the only way I could get all of the blue colors to match. It was also a nightmare, some of the fabrics just fought the dye so much.

As a veteran cosplayer since the late 90s, it’s weird to live in a time now where we have more color options for wigs than fabric.

2025 will probably be the year I just dye everything myself..

The years I get a lot of cosplay progress done is the year I barely draw, but the years I draw a lot, I barely get any cosplay done.. I see the pattern now. How to balance has been a struggle.

Okay, the Nintendo Music app is exactly what I want it to be. Plus THIS here changes everything for me and makes the Nintendo music app superior. There’s the option to extend the song, making it as long as you choose, uninterrupted, continuous. I will renew my NSO sub just for this app alone.

I miss live-streaming.. it’s been a crazy year for me with being motivated to create costumes again so I kinda held onto that. I’ve been trying to figure out my schedule to stream again and maybe I can start it back up this winter. I miss my twitch community.

Here is my finished Tri rod from Tge Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom!! So much work especially in the finishing/ paint job but I couldn’t be happier! Tried to go for a more proportional elegant look rather than cartoony. 3D modeled, printed and finished by me.

I’ve been on Threads for a while, ditched the bird a long time ago. I tried giving this place a try before and didn’t really work out. Maybe now that there’s more people here it is better? Idk, we’ll see.

I feel like Link should be wearing some sort of respirator when going into the depths. I’ve seen too much Nausicaä to know that air doesn’t look safe to breath. So much stuff floating around lol

Had an amazing time today! Got to play Detective Pikachu Returns and get a tour of the TPCi HQ. 🔎 Very awesome and I can’t wait to talk more about it soon!
