Yesterday, I said something I regretted. I was looking at the news and going "huh, a bit quiet this week". I should have learned by now. Stand by for a packed edition of the News Stand, featuring news, previews and more!

Two more Combat Octopus models painted (although needing basing) - recent Navy SEALs release but in an Iraqi DOF style for a local partner force. These four are using the non-modular figures included, making them easy to get printed and started (modular fun comes later).

Well, after an unplanned delay from last week due to a traffic incident (I'm okay, my car's side door is less so), we're now back with a Bumper Edition of the News Stand. Two weeks of news means double the releases, previews, updates and more! Oh, and the Kickstarters. So many Kickstarters.

Hey everyone. Yep, it's one of those weeks. Due to real-life stuff, I'm not going to get the News Stand done today. I'm going to bump it to next week for a double bill of news from the Ultramodern wargaming world.

We're at the end of September, and it's time for a wrap-up. I think this is the shortest News Stand I've done for a while, but the quality bar remains pretty high. Had a fun evening finally swapping my TV PC from Windows 10 over to Bazzite. This box is purely for Plex watching and occasionally streaming games from the PC upstairs so it's a good fit. That's one machine down, now time to work on the other two.

Last night's painting work - finishing off my power fist equipped (and campaign MVP) Orrus. I might do a few tweaks on her (mostly to brighten up the hair in a reference to a certain other lady with two power fists) but for now, she'll be the leader of my Secundian Incursion Enforcers in the future.

I didn't post last night's gaming fun as we were in the thick of it. Three weeks late but I played my first game of Necromunda with my Spyrers for this campaign. Public Execution with Former Housemate's Delaque as defenders. Some cool moments but alas, the Delaque were too webby for me

We're getting close to the end of the month, and with a Kickstarter Double Bill coming in July, the previews section is looking pretty full of US Army stuff. But we have content from others, including a massive drop from Spectre's Patreon. Also, Desk-Ops is releasing vehicles and streaming?

So this week's News Stand is going to be a little bit truncated as I'm currently elbow deep in Broken Arrow. So, as I take a break from mass deploying SOCOM's finest in big pushes behind enemy lines, let's quickly go over this week's news!
