People are wild about posting spoilers. Seems bonkers too see all the spoilers for Stranger Things out already. I even saw some Wicked spoilers and I get that the show has been out for 20 years, but I feel like there are still surprises.

What a good year for games! I've played so many great games this year and there's still so many more to play. Still need to play Ghost of Yotei, Possessor(s), Look Outside and Metroid Prime 4 is still on the way! I'm hooked on Hades II atm and can't wait to spend the break playing more.

Had quite a few good games in Marvel Rivals last night. It's fun to be a squirrelly menace. I can only imagine the Adam Warlock on the other team was getting flamed for that resurrection position 😬

The student center added some pinball machines and I just wanna skip the rest of the work day and go play pinball.

Really enjoyed Wicked: For Good! Cynthia and Ariana are fantastic. The movie felt a little less focused than the first, but I kind of expected it. Had some technical issues at the beginning that probably made me more irritated than it should (lights stayed on too long and the sound was weird).

The Game Awards would be 100% better if Sydnee Goodman hosted.

Wicked: For Good is tonight! Been waiting to see this for over 20 years. I've been obsessed since it came out, but never had the chance to see it on stage as I couldn't afford tickets any time it was touring. Fully expecting to be an emotional wreck tonight and I'm so excited!

Watching the new I Know What a You Did Last Summer. It isn't very good imo, but I'm entertained! More funny than scary.

Rolled credits on Dreamed Away. A game with a cute, pixel art style but with a surprisingly emotional narrative. I had some frustrations with a puzzle or two, but I enjoyed the game quite a bit! Experienced a few endings that were wildly different, one of which was so sad but weirdly joyful.

Haircut acquired. The dye is gone for now, but I will probably dye it again at the beginning of next year.

Love seeing people post screenshots of games they're playing, but maybe folks should refrain from posting spoiler images, especially from short narrative games.

Been having recurring dreams where I'm traveling to Japan but I always wake up when we land, so mostly the dreams are about walking through an airport and a long ass flight. Then I wake up thinking "Crap, did I miss my flight?" I don't even have a passport so I'm not sure what my brain is doing.

Watched the first episode of Welcome to Derry. It was fun when spooky stuff was happening and I thought the end was entertaining. The horror moments were good enough that I'll keep watching, even if I don't really care for the story or characters at the moment.

Got my doc interview in a few hours and half my team called in sick. I was producing videos solo for a decade, so I can handle it, but it's not ideal.

A little over a year ago, I started talking to someone about making a short documentary about mental health and we're finally getting around to shooting our first interview tomorrow. Excited and nervous. Gonna have some heavy discussions over the next few days, but it's all for something good!

GDT's Frankenstein is great! The production design is mindboggling. Such a beautiful movie! Found it to be quite funny too.

Done voting. Took about 2 minutes in line and 1 minute at the booth. The candidates I voted for ones that I agreed with on policy and didn't stoop to sending attack mailers like their opponents. Their opponents didn't send a single positive mailer saying who they are, so why would I vote for them?

Been playing Dreamed Away and it's very cute! But I did have some sort of bug where the game didn't actually save at the save stations for a while so I lost about 1.5 hours of progress. Ugh.

It is 100% ok to put up Christmas decorations on November 1st. The world is in shambles. Nothing matters, so enjoy those decorations you spent money on.

The latest episode of Dragula was such a mess, I'm living! I wish there was more focus on the drag and challenges, but the drama was juicy.

In the last 2 weeks, there have been 3 times where students approach me as I walk around campus and invite me to their Bible study. They only ask me though and walk past other people around us. Maybe they've been told to focus on inviting people with dyed hair. Or maybe I just look rough 😅

Keeper is very good. Finished within 4-5 hours. A beautiful, whimsical experience. Lots of moments of calm in the game that I really loved!
