I don't really like using pink in sculptures... But it's just perfect for this one. The red color would be provocative, but the pink tint ennobles it. She turned out very soft and elegant 💕 The sculpture is made of air-dry clay, painted with acrylic colors and covered with protective matte varnish.

All three cats are polyurethane casts made from my original master model, hand-painted with acrylics and finished with a protective matte varnish. They received strong magnets, and now they can be attached to any metal surface that magnets interact with. #handmade #cat #magnet #ooak #stars #spots

This cat got his coloring during the long power outages in Ukraine in the winter of 2025–2026. The outages in my city lasted more than 14 hours a day & the daylight hours were terribly short. Both the surrounding darkness and the golden glimmers of hope found their way into the cat’s coloring 🖤💛

I believe that if a material doesn’t cooperate on the first try, that’s not a reason to push it aside. The first time I picked up air-dry clay, I couldn’t understand how anyone could make anything out of that stuff. Now I love it and can’t imagine my work without it. Failures are part of learning.
